Battery Park Nursery

A small, family run nursery situated in the heart of the Battery Park.

Providing quality childcare for 2-5 year olds since 2013. We are a small, private nursery with a passion for providing positive, nurturing experiences for all the children within our care. We have developed a home from home environment in which our children thrive and take advantage of the vast outdoor space surrounding the nursery as well as our own private garden.

Our Ethos

We provide children with natural, authentic resources to create unique, open-ended play experiences. We strive to reduce our carbon footprint by using recycled materials and encourage our children and families to contribute to this and maintain this ethos at home. Children are able to freely select resources and activities around the room and in our private outdoor area situated within the park. This enables children to be the pioneers of their own play as our highly trained staff observe and contribute where necessary. We believe this approach combined with solid, nurturing relationships are the key to success in the all important early years.

Are you choosing a childcare service that's right for you and your family? Please feel free to browse the site and visit our nursery. We have an open door policy which allows parents the freedom to come and visit the nursery at a time and date that suits them. This also allows parents an insight into the daily running and function of the nursery. We currently offer funded spaces for 3-5 year olds in partnership with Inverclyde council as well as wraparound and private 2 year old spaces to suit your needs.
